Set up a connection

Before connecting, configure file sharing on your computer:

• Set up file sharing on Mac
• Set up file sharing on Windows 10
• Set up file sharing on Windows 7

Find a computer automatically

1. Open the Connections tab.
2. Tap the lightning button in the upper-right corner.
3. Select a connection type.
4. Tap Network Neighborhood.

5. Select your computer and enter its username and password.

If the computer belongs to a Windows domain, enter the username as domain;username.

Enter a computer address manually

1. Open the Connections tab.
2. Tap the lightning button in the upper-right corner.
3. Select a connection type.
4. Enter the computer name or IP address.
5. Enter the computer username and password.
